Authentification

Whenever a website requires an authenticator, I always wait until the last possible moment to tap in the 6-digit code – it’s so exciting!

But one particular time, when I got down to under a second left, I somehow managed to unlock a secret part of the website I was on.

I’m not going to name what company it was for – that would be like revealing how to find your favourite hidden beach – but it’s safe to say that it’s for a dwindling high street store.

Or well, perhaps we’re supposed to assume they’re dwindling.

The things to discover on their hidden site, it’s like visiting Aladdin’s actual cave – or a virtual version of it, anyway.

There are all kinds of incredible finds: cheap BitCoin, top-end cars with only a few miles on the clock at crazy prices, gems, rubies and sapphires, flowerpots with zero defects.

I’ve always wondered how that brand can keep their high street stores going, selling a few nuts and seeds and overpriced “so-called” CBD oil. And now I know.

What a genius front it is, to seed their illegal online supermarket.

The danger is, as with their high street stores, you end up buying all kinds of things you’ll never end up using.

Or maybe I will learn how to use the nunchucks that are on the way to me, boxed, invoiceless, and wrapped in brown paper.

For good measure, I added a few bags of dried fruits and healthy flapjacks to the basket as well.

That’ll keep their auditors happy.
