Words

The other day, I was walking down a road where the pavement was paved with words.

It’s one of the maddest things I’ve ever seen. The glory of its originality.

Seeing them all laid out like that, it reminds you how many words there are – enough to fill a dictionary!

Momentarily, I did discover that having words lining the pavement can be quite a distraction.

While I was seeing if I could make up a sentence without stepping on the cracks, I tripped on DISPLUME, which I’d never even heard of.
